Dubai visa guides by passport
Nationality pages are published only when they have distinct evidence and review - not by swapping a country name into generic copy.

This is a global site, so a nationality guide begins with the travel document, not the visitor's current home. A person living in Canada may travel on an Indian passport. A UK resident may hold a passport with completely different entry conditions. Even labels such as British passport can cover document classes that do not share the same rule.
We publish a passport page only when authoritative sources support useful distinctions that cannot be handled safely in a generic template. The British page is scoped to a full British citizen passport. The Indian page distinguishes ordinary passport holders from conditional routes linked to specified visas or residence documents. Other travellers should start with the global eligibility workflow and the current official list.
Departure airport is an operational fact, not a substitute for nationality. It can affect the airline and transit itinerary, but it does not turn a resident into a citizen. Similarly, a visa or residence permit issued by another country matters only when the UAE rule expressly recognises that document and all validity conditions are met.
A passport page is a dated guide, not a permanent whitelist. Border rules and provider boarding checks can change at different times. Open the linked authority and operating-airline guidance shortly before travel, especially when permission depends on another visa or residence card.
Checks that prevent the common mistakes
- Use the passport or travel document presented at the UAE border as the starting fact.
- Record any qualifying foreign visa or residence document separately and verify its issuer, type and remaining validity.
- Do not copy a rule for citizens onto residents, or a rule for an ordinary passport onto an emergency travel document.
- Recheck before departure because eligibility lists, document conditions and permitted stays can change.
