Dubai visa application: choose the correct route

There is no universal application form for every visitor. Start by confirming whether you need advance permission, then use the authority, airline, hotel, licensed agent or sponsor that is eligible to handle your specific visa product.

Who can handle an application?

The UAE Government points travellers to ICP and GDRFA websites/apps and typing centres. For tourist visas it also identifies airlines, hotels and travel agents as application channels. These routes are not interchangeable.

Application workflow

  1. Identify the permission type and issuer. Do not choose based only on the cheapest advertised label.
  2. Obtain the current requirements directly from the handler. Note the date you received them.
  3. Check passport validity, names, dates of birth and travel dates before uploading anything.
  4. Get a written fee breakdown and read cancellation/refund conditions.
  5. Submit only through the provider’s verified domain or office and keep the receipt/reference.
  6. Track through the same provider and the correct official authority.
  7. Check the issued document carefully: name, passport number, validity, entries, permitted stay and sponsor/issuer.

Protect your identity documents

  • Do not upload passport images to an information blog or unofficial status tool.
  • Verify the domain and organisation before sending identity documents.
  • Ask how long a commercial provider retains copies and how deletion can be requested.
  • Use unique passwords and avoid sending sensitive documents through open social-media messages.
  • Redact documents only when the receiving authority/provider confirms that redaction is acceptable.

What this website can and cannot do

Our tools can organise tasks, explain the route and send you to the official status page. They cannot file a government application, access a private immigration record or decide whether permission will be granted.

If a future integration is added, it will be based on documented authority access and explicit consent - not reverse-engineered endpoints.
