Dubai visa for Nigerian citizens: official-first
This page does not invent a Nigerian-specific stay length, bank-balance rule or verification number. Confirm the current UAE eligibility page and a channel you can identify. Visitor permission never becomes work permission.
This page does not cover: unofficial agent checklists presented as law, employment on a visit visa, or a promise of approval.
Use official pages, not street rules
The UAE Government explains that GCC citizens do not need a visa, that some other nationalities receive permission on arrival, and that others must apply in advance. Lists change. The same page tells you to check with the UAE embassy in your country and names ICP and GDRFA as contacts.
We have not cited a Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs destination page that states a specific UAE visitor duration. Until an official Nigerian or UAE page gives that figure for Nigerian passports, this guide will not invent one.
Treat agent folklore as unverified
- A demanded bank balance copied from a blog is not an official fee table.
- A 'document verification number' sold by a third party is not automatically an ICP or GDRFA requirement unless that authority's current service says so.
- A claim that only one airline can sponsor every Nigerian application should be checked with that airline and a second official channel.
- Payment to an individual for an unnamed 'work visa' is a warning sign, not a shortcut.
A channel you can defend

Documents without a fake universal list
Start from the handler's current list. Across tourist services, a passport copy, a recent photograph and onward travel or insurance evidence appear often, but extras can be added for a nationality, residence or sponsor type.
The UAE general rule we cite is that passports should be valid for at least six months from entry. Confirm the airline's version of that rule. Do not enter full identity numbers into this website's tools.
Verification sequence
- Open the live UAE eligibility page.
- If you are in Nigeria, also check the current instruction from the UAE mission that serves your city.
- Ask the operating airline what it will require at check-in.
- Choose a verified application channel only after those two checks.
- Reconcile documents and the written fee before paying.
- After issue, compare the permit with the passport and itinerary.
- If the purpose is work or residence, leave this visitor page and use the moving guides.
