Dubai visa status check: use the correct official tracker

For an application handled in Dubai, use GDRFA Dubai. For Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah, the UAE Government directs users to ICP. If an airline or agent filed the case, also use its own order channel.

This page does not cover: retrieving a private application result on this site. We deliberately do not collect the identifiers required to do that.

Why we do not put the status form here

Status checks involve identity and application data. No clearly documented, anonymous, production-ready official API was verified for this consumer use. Proxying those details through our server would add security and privacy risk without making the authority’s answer more official.

Our router opens the authority directly. The separate My Visa Journey tool is only your personal checklist; it does not claim to read government status.

If the record cannot be found

  1. Confirm whether the application was actually submitted and which authority issued the reference.
  2. Check characters carefully and use the same email/identifier supplied in the application.
  3. Ask the filing airline, hotel, agent or sponsor for the official application reference and issuer.
  4. Use contact details on the authority’s official website if the correct tracker still cannot locate it.
  5. Do not pay an unrelated third party merely to reveal a status you can check through the official channel.

Can you check by passport number?

That search phrase does not describe one universal lookup. The identifier requested depends on the authority and service. The GDRFA status page checked for this edition asks for an email address, Emirates ID and application reference. ICP offers its own application and file-validity routes with the fields shown in that service. A provider portal may instead use an order number or booking account.

Do not keep trying a passport number on unrelated sites. First identify the issuer from the receipt or permit, open the verified authority or provider domain, and use only the fields that official page requests. A website that promises access from fewer details may be collecting identity data or returning an unofficial result.

A privacy check before entering identifiers

  • Read the domain character by character and enter through a saved official link rather than a paid advertisement.
  • Do not send a full reference, passport scan or one-time code to someone offering to check on your behalf.
  • Use a private connection and device where possible, then sign out of provider accounts.
  • Keep the dated result with your travel file, but do not publish it on a forum or social network.
  • If a contact asks for an unexpected payment, verify the request through contact details on the authority or provider's official website.
