Official service pages are the right place to confirm a live requirement, but they often assume the reader already knows which authority, provider or permission applies. These guides deal with the decisions around the form: choosing the correct status route, checking passport and photograph evidence, testing a provider's claims and reviewing the issued document before travel.
The guides are written for a global audience. They do not infer eligibility from the airport you leave from, the country where you live or a marketing site's location. Where nationality changes the answer, the text names the passport class and links to evidence with that scope.
Each guide also has an expiry problem: a perfectly sourced statement can become wrong after an authority changes a page. The checked date shows when we saw the evidence. The source-status register shows the next planned review. Travellers should still open the live source before applying, paying or flying.
