How to check your Dubai visa before travel
Approval is not the last check. Read the issued document, verify the official record and compare both with the passport and real itinerary before going to the airport.
This page does not cover: promising boarding or entry, which remain carrier and border decisions.
Audit the issued permission
- Name and passport number exactly match the travel document.
- Nationality and date of birth are correct.
- Visa/permit type matches the trip purpose.
- Single or multiple entry matches the itinerary.
- Last date to enter and permitted stay are understood separately.
- Sponsor/provider and issuing authority are recognised.
Verify status at the right place
Use GDRFA's official tracker for a Dubai application and ICP for the federal/other-emirate route identified by the UAE Government. A provider's order page can show its own workflow but is not a substitute for the issuing record.
Enter full references only on the verified official/provider domain. This site does not need them.
Check the journey, not just the PDF
- Confirm the operating airline's document and disruption instructions.
- Check onward/return ticket and any itinerary condition.
- Carry insurance, accommodation or conditional-eligibility evidence where required.
- Check whether medication or other border rules affect the traveller.
- Recheck the official source close to departure and retain contact details.
If something is wrong
Do not edit an issued PDF. Contact the provider/authority immediately, keep the written response and do not assume a spelling, passport or date error is harmless.
