Free privacy-first tool

Dubai visa photo file checker

Inspect the facts stored in your image file without uploading it. Enter the limits shown by your airline, authority or provider to run a simple comparison.

Privacy: The selected image stays on your device. The tool reads its dimensions, file type and size in this browser and does not save the image.
Optional provider limits

Copy these from the upload screen or written specification. Leave a field blank when no limit is stated.

There is no safe universal pixel answer

GDRFA tourist service pages list a personal photograph among the required documents. The exact digital specification can be set by the authority upload screen, airline or tourism provider handling the application. A dimension copied from an old article may be correct for a different portal and still fail on yours.

This checker solves the narrower problem that a browser can answer accurately: what are the selected file's dimensions, media type and size? When your provider says, for example, that a file must use an exact width and height or remain below a stated number of kilobytes, enter those values and compare them locally.

How to use the result

  1. Open the current upload instructions from the organisation handling the application.
  2. Copy only the stated technical limits into the optional fields above.
  3. Select the working copy of the image and read each comparison.
  4. Check the non-technical requirements separately, including age of photo, face position, background, lighting and permitted head coverings.
  5. Upload through the verified provider or authority page, not through this site.

A matching result means the file matches the limits you entered. It does not mean the application system or decision maker will accept the photograph.

If the file does not match

Return to the original image rather than repeatedly compressing an already compressed copy. Resizing can change proportions, introduce blur or crop required space around the head. Ask the provider whether it supplies an official crop tool or whether a professional photo service is appropriate.

Keep filenames neutral. A filename does not need to contain a passport number or date of birth. On a shared device, remove redundant copies when the application is complete and follow the provider's retention and deletion information.

For visual and document checks beyond the file properties, use the Dubai visa photo requirements guide and the private document checklist.
