UAE residence medical fitness test
Medical fitness is an immigration health-screening step for UAE residence in the applicable adult categories. It is not a substitute for health insurance or ordinary medical care.
Who needs it
The UAE Government states that residence applicants aged 18 and over undergo medical testing, subject to the service and category. Family residence guidance applies the test to sponsored adults.
Use the instructed centre
Follow the appointment and approved-centre route supplied for the exact application. Do not assume a home-country examination replaces the UAE step.
Keep insurance separate
Passing an immigration medical does not create insurance cover. Dubai residents must still have the health insurance required for their situation.
